Operations & People Manager

Central London/Hybrid | £65,000 - £80,000 DOE

We’re working with an innovative company at the intersection of deep tech, media, and creativity, with offices in the UK, Switzerland, and the US. They are looking for an experienced Operations & People Manager to drive business operations and HR across their growing international group. This senior role reports to the COO/CFO and covers operations, HR, office management, admin, and finance support. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, building processes that scale while keeping the company efficient, compliant, and human. This is a stand-alone role while they scale with a view to building out the ops team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operations across multiple jurisdictions - US and Europe experience a must.

  • Oversee office, admin, and vendor management.

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle and support hiring.

  • Partner with finance teams on budgets, payroll, and compliance.

  • Drive internal systems and workflow improvements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years in operations, HR, or similar roles in fast-paced, international businesses.

  • Strong process design and leadership skills.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy (Google Workspace, Notion, etc.).

  • Confident communicator who can balance strategy with execution.
