Financial Controller
Up to £70,000 per annum | Central London
Our client is a fantastic Theatre company looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial health and operations by managing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures accurate financial data, supports strategic decision-making. This is an immediate start position, you must be available immediately to be considered.

Review, analyse, and challenge monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage the accounting department, including overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
Develop and monitor key financial metrics and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders
Manage the year-end process, including the COO's engagement with the audit partners and the preparation of financial statements
Ideal Candidate:
Ideal Candidate:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
A high level of accounting or financial management experience, with significant experience in a leadership role
Experience in education, charity or the arts is preferable
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
