Operations Director

We have a brilliant and meaty role available, looking for an Operations Director to join a well established firm based in the City.

We are searching for someone experienced and skilled, who will be confident playing a vital role ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations. Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational functions, you will also work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies and improve on current processes.
The role will be incredibly varied, so as well as manging all operational functions your responsibilities will encompass:

• Identifying and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Managing and allocating resources effectively to meet business objectives and optimise performance
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Leading and motivating a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve operational objectives
• Ensuring the business is constantly striving to be well-coordinated and productive by confirming operational procedures are concise, practical and in line with company values
• Resource management across all sites
• Keeping a handle on P&L expenditure across all sites, and addressing inconsistencies
• Knowledgeable in basic HR and ER processes and overseeing aspects of this in relation to the operational teams by ensuring team are aware of company HR policies, with support of external advisors
• Maintaining and updating all Health and Safety regulations and policies to ensure proper legal compliance of all operational buildings and records are maintained
• Undertaking regular building checks to ensure that the centres are operating efficiently

For this role we are looking for candidates with previous experience in operations management within any industry. You must have great communication skills, be highly organised as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills while being able to think strategically. This role requires someone who is adaptable and confident to jump into any situation. Not only that it needs someone who has a positive attitude and isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up.
